 07 Questions

The honest answers.

Cost, referrals, dietary needs, how the month actually works. If you've still got a question after this — bring it to the consult.

  1. 01

What actually happens in the consult?

    +
You sit with a registered dietitian for about 45 minutes. You talk through your goals, any bloods or referrals you've got, and what your mornings really look like. They map a month of breakfasts to that, and you start eating them here. No homework.
  2. 02

    How much does it cost?

    +
The initial consult is $95, and most private health funds with extras cover a portion of dietitian visits, so check your rebate. The month of breakfasts is paid per plate or as a discounted monthly pass — your dietitian will set out the options.
  3. 03

    Do I need a doctor's referral?

    +
No referral needed to book a consult. If you have a GP Management Plan or a referral from your doctor, bring it — it helps us tailor faster and may unlock Medicare-rebated visits.
  4. 04

Are the glucose-friendly dishes actually for diabetics?

    +
They're built to be steadier on blood sugar than a typical cafe breakfast, but we're a cafe, not a clinic for managing your condition. Your consult tailors choices to you, and we always say keep your treating doctor in the loop.
  5. 05

What if I have allergies or other dietary needs?

    +
Tell us in the booking notes and in your consult. We cook gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options daily, and your dietitian builds your month around what you can and can't eat. One kitchen, so we'll be honest about cross-contact.
  6. 06

Can I just come for breakfast without a consult?

    +
Yes — walk-ins are welcome for the regular menu. The consult is what unlocks the mapped month and the nutrition tailored to your goals, so most people book one once they're hooked.
